Some Books To Remember

Hello everyone once again! I am really sorry for the delay. Seeing how you people always read my blog, I have a little surprise for you. Enlisted below are the things I cherish, my favourite books, do try some of them!

1.Paper Towns- John Green

                                              "Forever is composed of Nows"
Those aware of John Green's style might be aware how well he manages to explore emotions and situations, In this case, the emotion, the situation is the futility of life, and the book poses a major question at us, "Is the world we live in real, or is it a 'Paper Town', waiting to crumble?"
Behold the story of Quentin, who is helplessly in love with Margo. Margo comes to his life for a night, and just leaves,,, She becomes the mystery she was fond of. Read on to find out what happens, maybe you get the answer to your question, the very meaning of life...

2. Life is What you Make It- Preety Shenoy

                                                " Never Belittle love"

This is one thought that reverberates around the book, and yet it is not a love story.
Rather, it is a story of human struggle, battling the bottomless pit of despair, while trying to back up.
This is the story about Ankita Sharma, a brilliant student, a brilliant person, who is seen rocketing up to her dreams, to complete her MBA, to fill that bottomless pit which demands knowledge at rocket high speed. But there is a terrible fiend, which unknown to her, was the cause of her success and would be the hand to pull her down,
A story of motivation, a story to think about for a long time.

3. The Fault In Our Stars: John Green

Hazel is young, pretty and has everything one could wish for, and yet something she doesn't want, Caner. And it was this affliction that kept her away from forming bonds. Then she meets Augustus aka Gus, a cancer survivor, and the two just hit it off. But fate has something all togetherly differently planned,
A heart warming tale of love, endurance, with ghosts of the quote seen yet again and again

"The World Is Not a Wish Granting Factory"
I cried reading it, maybe you will too...

4. The Hunger Games- Suzanne Collins

How far would you go for family? How far would you go for survival, not life?
Set in a dystopia, the world has been divided into Districts, under the rule of the Capitol. Each year The Hunger Games are organised, a fight for survival between 2 contenders form each district. Everything went on as usual until one head raised.
This was Katniss Everdeen, who volunteered for her sister. Now pitted in an arena. Can she survive?
This book sheds a powerful light over the spirit of endurance, how one can endure, one can change, one can rebel. Saying anything more, just spoils the surprise!

5. Half Girlfriend - Chetan Bhagat

"Lets come up to a compromise, I will be your Half- Girlfriend..."

Love strikes Madhav Jha easily under the glarign lights of the St. Stephens College, Delhi. There he meets Riya, the girl of his dreams, who he hopes to make her his. What follows next is a series of yes and no, when Riya finally agrees to be his Half- Girlfriend. But life had other plans for them.
A tale of passion, of love, of meeting adn going high, of sacrificing for love, for being there always.
I finished it in one sitting, maybe you will too,

Till then, read comment and share with me your favourite books.

Till next time,
Nancy
