THE TWINKLING STAR

The Twinkling Star

A beauty one can ever feel,
so true and chaste.
The magic hid in the heart;
impalpable but had an effect
which have I discovered
which I now know of.
A real soul
took birth to die.
It lived. Yes, once it did
but merely to die.
When it breathed I did not
When I breathe it does not.
Oblivious of each other,
tied, nonetheless
by a relationship, mysterious
for it lies within my origin.
Ever has the radiance glowed,
resigned, yet vibrant;
quiet, Sparkling
in the night sky amidst infinite stars,
the form changed
and still remains.
Embraced by the heaven. Fain.
Gone before my arrival; did not wait.
Couldn't bid adieu to thee,
a rainbow in the blue just faded.
Guides me thy light
To the symphonies you kindled.

PS- A poem is never mere a poem. It is the thoughts, the sentiments, the feelings of a person. It is a revelator and a concealer. This poem is for the person whom i've never seen, let alone knowing her.
She is my grand-mother. She left me before i came here. But her aroma, her essence hasn't escaped. her absence is searing but at night, the star heals all the sores and scars. She is indelible and potent who has been living for eons and will continue to do so. I know (may be not) that afterlife is a place that is intangible and i also know that people can never take form of stars but i know one thing, that stars are not always stars composed of gases, sometimes, they are the torches that our loved ones ignite to guide us and show us the right path.
